The club hosts two AHA (American Homebrewers Association) competitions, the San Joaquin Fair homebrew competition and the Amador County Fair homebrew competition.
The club members include several BJCP judges, even a couple of senior judges.
The club has one major fund raiser a year. A Saint Patricks dinner that includes the usual Saint Patricks type food, the occasional homebrew or cigar has been known to show up also.
The club supports local charitable organizations and hosts an occasional pub crawl which are the main reasons we have a fund raiser.
