The September club meeting is on Saturday September 13, at 6:00pm, at the home of Roger and Samie Watson in Galt.

Dave Teckam is hosting another BJCP course and test in our area. Ten classes will run from August 30, 2008 through November 2008. The exam is scheduled for November 22, 2008. Check the course syllabus for course content and contact information.

Compare a specific beer style against the BJCP style guidelines. It is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the various beer styles and it's fun. The club is fortunate to have several BJCP judges who like to talk about beer!
School is out for the summer!
The tasting includes commercial and homebrewed examples. If you have a homebrewed style for this month please bring it to the meeting.
If you would like to volunteer to bring commercial examples of a style please contact the school Principal.
The last assignment at beer school is to decide what the next meetings style will be. First choice is the AHA club-only style for that month. If there is no club-only competition then the club members at the meeting decide.
